Tier 9 Partners is a software development and consulting limited partnership based in Dallas, Texas. We specialize in Microsoft.NET ASP.NET web and Windows forms desktop development using C# and VB.NET. .NET allows us to develop feature rich, high performance, secure, and fault tolerant applications faster and cheaper than traditional approaches such as C++ or even Java.

Tier 9 Partners' General Partner is Muegel & Associates, a Texas Corporation. The President of Muegel & Associates is Michael S. Muegel. Mike is our lead software architect.

Mike has more than 15 years experience managing and developing IT systems and applications. Mike previously worked for electronics giant Motorola and Internet pioneer GeoCities.

While at Motorola Mike created and managed the Motorola Compass, a first of it's kind Web-based information discovery and collaboration service that serves over 100,000 employees worldwide. Mike also started many of Motorola's Internet services, including it's Corporate presence, www.motorola.com. Mike developed several global IT systems, including (at the time!) cutting edge Web data warehousing and e-mail broadcasting systems for Motorola Corporate HR.

At GeoCities Mike was Director of Community Tools. Mike led the team that managed GeoCities chat, e-mail, and discussion forum services. Mike left GeoCities when it was acquired by Yahoo!.
